All of the books shown here have been used in year 1 classrooms for years and they include a variety of titles to accommodate all ability levels, including the less able and the more able. We want to provide teachers with a diverse selection of books to read with their children to encourage them to begin reading independently and hopefully encourage a lifelong love of reading.
